Microsoft now offers free MSDN (may be in future too, to overcome open source)

With little tweakening at microsoft download site's source code i found the links to 3 images of MSDN 2006, this helps you to the split the big size file using your download software like getright (getright. com). Using this s/w you can split the file and download time and helps to continue downloading next time without lossing the previously downloaded part of the file, even if internet disconnects while downloading.
